School Uniform
We at Sandford St. Martin’s Primary School are proud of our school uniform. We recognise the role it plays in:
- Promoting the ethos of the school
- Providing a sense of belonging and identity
- Setting an appropriate tone for education.
Our School jumpers, cardigans, PE t-shirts and book-bags are branded with our Dragonfly logo and we have a bespoke school tie.
We do ask that no jewellery (necklaces, bracelets etc) is worn in school. Small stud earrings are permitted. Watches can be worn but these should not have messaging, phoning, gaming or photography functions.
Long hair must be tied up. Extreme styles and hair colouring are not permitted.

Branded, compulsory uniform:
- Cardigan or sweatshirt
- PE t-shirts
- Bookbags (Reception to Year 2 only)
- Tie (Years 4, 5 and 6 only)
We use Price and Buckland to supply our branded items - a large, national supplier of school uniforms.

Unbranded uniform:
- Black Skirt, pinafore dress, trousers or shorts
- White polo shirt (Reception, KS1 & Yr3) or white shirt (Yrs 4, 5 & 6)
- Yellow gingham dress for Summer
- Black shoes (not trainers)
- Suitable coat for outdoor play.
These items of uniform can be purchased from supermarkets and other retail outlets.
PE Kit
- White school logo PE t-shirt / white round neck t-shirt
- Black shorts (no logos)
- Black tracksuit bottoms/leggings (no logos)
- Black hoodie/sweatshirt (no logos)
- Trainers / black plimsolls
Children wear their PE kit to school on PE days
