Pine Martin Grange Care home
This is next door to our school. We invite the residents to events we hold at school and our school choir has been in to sing to them frequently.
External charities and organisations we work with/visit/welcome:
The Wareham Lions
They support our school in lots of ways, from helping to transport children to swimming lessons and sports events in their minibus; being the masterminds behind the sponsored swim our school takes part in each year (which raises valuable funds towards the school projects) and also taking part in our Christmas and Summer Fayres with their fun pocket money games which all the children love getting involved in. www.warehamlions.org.uk,
Wareham Carnival and Wareham Father Christmas Commitees
As a school, we attend the carnival in the Summer and also the Santa parade in December. Our thanks to the Carnival Committee for the two donations we have had this year, one for litter pickers for our school eco club and also for money to re-cover our school stage. www.warehamcarnival.co.uk www.christmasinwareham.co.uk
Wareham Rotary.
They have supported us in planting 400 saplings in our grounds and also digging footings for a shade sail and outdoor classroom. The Rotary has also made contributions towards tree protectors in our grounds. www.rotary-ribi.org
Woodland Trust
Thanks to the Woodland Trust who gifted us with 400 tree saplings to plant in our grounds. www.woodlandtrust.org.uk
Wareham Men's shed
Thanks to the Wareham Men's Shed for helping school with various projects including 5 friendship benches in the school grounds and a boat in our reception outdoor learning area. www.warehamshed.org.uk
National Trust
Our school membership allows us to visit Corfe Castle, Studland Bay and Brownsea Island. Through our community links with the National Trust our eco club is invited each year to pull out pine saplings in the Studland area. www.nationaltrust.org.uk
